Fun Tag!

This is a fun tag that is running rampant throughout my bloggy blog world. I want to hear from ALL Y'ALL...even if you have never commented before!

Here are the rules.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is most memorable. If you don't have a blog and don't know how to sign in, please comment as anonymous.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you... either on your blog, in my comment box, or I will email you back!
3. If the memory happens to involve my husband, please include him!
4. If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all ☺Okay, let's see what you've got!

I will always remember you singing El Shaddai at Jake Hawley's farewell. It was beautiful! - Debbie

My first memory of you was at Vicki's too for preschool before I even moved here I think.
BUT my favorite memories are HAIRSPRAY...calling each other what seemed like 5 times saying "are you going to go........ AGAIN?????" That big night with everyone was so so fun!
Park City was so much fun too. I told Tiff that playing curses there was the best time and we tried to play it with relief society here...nobody got the humor of it and I remember saying "you have to play with the RIGHT people!"
I will forever think of you and Steph when I eat CHeesecake and Chocolate together......whoa that was a TON of work but fun!
And the nicest memory of you was when you brought me that CD for Zac. That was so nice!

Another one...Shopping for the stroller when you were expecting Odie. I had been battling depression and it was very healing for me to spend that afternoon with you. - Debbie

Oh this is hard… I have so many, driving to yellow stone in the back of the jimmy watching for bears. Your 5th birthday in St. Anthony you got a pool and before we got to swim those mean boys put all those leaves and junk in it. Who could forget riding on the float that our parents made for South Weber days. Easter egg hunts at grandmas. Remember the banana seats? I use to take you around the block a million times on the back of my bike. Sleep outs and kick the can. I could go on for ever….
We did have a lot of fun growing up.

I remember seeing you all the time at preschool WONDERING if you were the Becky that Angie B knew-- but too scared to ask.:)
I remember hanging out at Carol's house for her afternoon party thingee -- what was that called? Anyway, we were talking about traveling around the US and you said "but there are so many great places to go just in Utah" I thought "what a postive girl -- she's RIGHT!" :)
and finally -- I remember Will wanting to go get popcorn chicken after the park adn I was THRILLED that someone else brought their kids to Walmart for lunch as much as I!!LOL

I remember seeing you around CHS and always thought you were beautiful. My first REAL memory was of you singing at Michelle's farewell, I think they talked more about you at that farewell than they did even about Michelle.

As for as memories of your husband...I have video proof of the primary parade circa 1979 with Brandon and I wearing our sunbeam hats. Don't actually remember it though. My first actual memory is from kindergarten. We were swinging high in the swings at recess and the chain broke on his swing. It wasn't pretty. Wonder if even he remembers that? It apparently made a pretty big impression on me.

Debbie, you are so nice! And Angie b, I was going to come back to yours to say Hairspray! that was crazy, and I've been thinking about it alot this summer wishing there was something fun like that going on again! Tiff, I totally remember the grass in the pool thing...meegz and mandy, get yours up on your blog and I'll share mine there! Thanks, guys!

My first memory was at a softball tournament and you and Brandon were together, of course. He in dreads and you in braids. I thought, wow I bet they really like Bob Marley. I pictured us doing a sweet karaoke version of 'stir it up' together. I saw how sweet Brandon was with you and Cameron and knew I liked you both. You were the eccentric couple of the bunch.
I also remember you singing in our relief society at Christmas time. It was that beautiful song about Mary but I can't think of the title right now because I can only think of how pretty your voice was!
And there will always be memories of watching my carpet man work on Tug's corner well past dinner time. He's the only one who understands my pain about the grossist thing in my house and the only one who could get my ugly couches looking halfway decent again.

I remember coming to see you at the hospital when you had Abby. What a beautiful family you were (and still are). I was asked to go to your apartment and let your dog Bailey out. I had never met Bailey before. I was scared to death walking into that apartment. Fortunately Bailey was sweet and kind even to a stranger.

My first memory of you is with your hair in those pig tail braids that are looped up..I don't know what they're called...like giant dangley earrings...
My other GREAT impressions of you are when you sing. I am amazed at how you can stand in front of so many people & be so calm..& the most beautiful angelic voice comes out. (And I am VERY picky about female singers!..in fact, I've thought about posting about that very topic.)
& I LOVED being your visiting teacher...I miss it.

I loved the time at book club when we got the giggles for a way too long. Great stress relief. I always think also that you say you are shy - I have never seen that side of you!! I love all of your posts. I check daily! I also love all of the side websites you have links for. You rock!

I have SO many, but can I post them? I remember you sleeping over at my house and we called someone early in the morning (I won't say who) I also remember toilet papering Jeffie's house and we used Scott brand toilet paper and laughing so hard because it was a never ending roll. St. George after we graduated and Jeffie making that prank call...dance class, California for choir, I could go on and on. I LOVE this tag!

My first memory of you was when I was still new here. You were an amazing singer, your girls were so cute and always looked perfect. I always wanted to get to know "THE Becky Arnell" but was told that you were shy and I definately didn't talk to people I didn't know then. I was so excited to be your visiting teacher - it lasted 1 month. So many moons later I get to know you off of your blog!

Becky! I also remember the toilet papering story Joanna wrote about (vaguely though) My most memorable stories are...on graduation night going down to Freeport Center and laughing at the "Do Not Hump" trailers, driving around in your "scam-a ri", choir trip to Disneyland and the St. George trip! You are such fun person to hang out with! I'm glad we can keep in touch in the blogging world!

I totally forgot about the "do not hump" signs. FUNNY!

Okay Becky, I have been trying to come up with my favorite memory, but there are so many. I guess after 30 years that's to be expected. But, some of the best were the toilet papering and horning. Running around the streets in the middle of the night. Do you remember girls camp when our tent was stampeded by cows and we had to build a latrine? Oh the memories.

I have some fun Jr High pics that I am gonna post tonight, it's a little scary.

I have so many funny memories of you that some are better left unsaid. One that always makes me laugh was your tooth gettting whacked by the wall. I hope that is not a "painful" memory. I just remember you laughing so hard at first when you saw in the mirror. I think you were dilirious from lack of sleep.

Okay,
So, Becky, alot of my memories are when Landen and Abby were in pre-school together! I enjoyed seeing you more often!
I also remember when we moved to West Point, Brandon helped move us and he told Lane that "You said you would miss me." Now, Lane could of been making that up! That Lane!
But, that made me feel special.
Anyways, I've always admired you and have enjoyed watching your beautiful family grow!
Oh! and the time we sang Karaoke! (What were we thinking?) Oh well, at least we did it!

Oh, and Happy Belated Birthday!!!!

Just thinking about responding . . . remember when Abby went to YW and the mess I was in at Primary, anyways.

I don't think my first memory is negative - just funny. "I hat you"? My first memory is babysitting you and your sisters when your parents would take the boys to the WSC basketball games. I was giving Wendy a little too much attention at the piano and you slipped me a note. You knew that would be my first memory - right.

I remember how beautiful you were in High School and that you seemed to be a people magnet and were so quiet about the attention.

I remember your wedding day and how everything was perfect with the daisies and your "such a nice guy" husband. I remember your honeymoon . . .

I remember having our first three kids around the same time and loving it - sort of a security blanket because you were a natural mom and I needed someone to show me how it's done.

Rainbow jello and yummy lasagna.

"Encouraging" you to do things out of your comfort zone.

Our Park City sleepover and you were amazing, you didn't miss a beat. You did, like, 9 things all at the same time while strumming your guitar.

Preschool and DINNER GROUP!

Was I only suppose to stick to my first memory?

When we were kids, I remember loving to listen to you sing in sacrament meetings. I always wished I could be as talented as you are. Sure I could sing but you were always so much more musically inclined than I will ever be.
I also have a memory of a doughnut fork sicking out of someone's heel. Correct me if that wasn't you. I just remember coming with my mom to the rescue and vividly remember that doughnut fork. Sorry, I didn't mean to thing of painful ones. It was one that just stuck in my head.
I remember all the fun kick the can games and barbie days. The whole front yard full of all of our barbie stuff. Lots of fun growing up so close. Even though I grew up more with all the boys!lol

I must add the first time I heard you sing was in sacrament meeting with Peggy Poll and you sang "A Child's Prayer" also the first time I heard that song. Whenever Phoebe sings it reminds me of that moment.

I remember one time playing at your house with Shaury when I was about 8. I had a nice perm going on and you thought it would be fun to straighten it. So I laid down on a towel and you got the iron out and ironed my hair. I felt so pretty afterward because Shaury's older sister did my hair!

http://www.trashties.com/trash.html Hey Becky, check out these cool hair thingies. They're pretty cool, and since your so good at hairdos, I thought of you. Be sure and click on "blog" at the top of her index, to see various ways it's used. Let me know what you think.

i'd email you this info but I don't have your email and I know you're going to look here.

Beckey, I SO remember the Do Not Hump signs! I remember visiting you at work at Taco Time and you visiting me at work at Taco Maker. That St. George trip was so much fun! Remember in Vegas with Jeffie, and thinking we were going to get shot because of all the things he kept yelling at people? You were a lot of fun, and thanks for saying I was fun to hang out with, too. (Sometimes I feel a bit boring in my old age!)
Joanna, I remember sleeping over at your house, staying up all night talking about boys...graduation and Jeffie and dance class...what were we thinking? That student teacher we had that we thought was so awesome when she did that dance to Prince's song "thunder"...Both of you, Beckey and Joanna, Disneyland was a blast! and sorry to say I was almost too sleepy to enjoy Phantom as much as I should have! some of my funnest times in my life were spent with you! thanks, guys!

Here's hoping you're still checking your memories... I remember being so excited - honestly thrilled to hear you were pregnant with #5. We were trying for #4 with a bit of hesitation, thinking 4 is a pretty big family these days -but still really wanting another one. Then, the amazing women that you are announced you were pregnant and I thougnt 'if she can do it so can I'. Honestly Becky, I totally admire you as a mom. You're family is incredible. Plus I love that are adorable little girls share the 'old fashioned' names of Maggie and Lucy:)
