So.....

So after the big speech last night, what do you think about her?

I think I like her. I'm not really into politics, but I think she is a good choice strategically for McCain. She has chosen some interesting names for her children, but she is very likeable, don't you think? Funny thing is, I get very annoyed at people who support Obama just because he is "likeable" or some kind of superstar or something.

I think she's great! I was kind of bored of this election until she came along. She's brought a breath of fresh air. I love that she's a mother, a wife, and a confident and a powerful woman.

Someone asked me today if we could get rid of McCain and just have her run for president. It will make for an interesting election

Honestly Becky...I don't know Squat about her and I had never even heard about her before. One thing I do like is that she is not hiding her pregnant daughter and is open about that which makes me like her more and makes me think she is a bit more "real". And it is Sad that THAT is the most that I know about her because of the media.....I am looking forward to finding out more about her.
I wish I understood politics more but I don't, I feel like an idiot when all the issues are being raised. It seems like there should be a simple solution and then it ends up being more complicated than I can fathom.
I'm with Jenny Lee....this will be exciting to see.

How funny, I've been wanting to post about Sarah, but I didn't feel like I knew enough about her. However, what I do know makes me love her. I just feel like she can represent me well, being a mother of 5 with a 4 month old with downs syndrome, & her oldest in the military. She's very conservative which I also love. As for her not having much experience, she runs Alaska for pete sakes. That's a bit more than running Arkansas (for example). I also hope we get to LV before elections so David & my votes REALLY count. (Sorry, I live in a very political household).

I am very impressed. It sure made McCain's election more interesting. I really think she will sway some of the people on the edge toward the republican side. Very smart of McCain to choose her. She brings such a great intelligence and confidence to the role of womanhood.

I think she is inspiring. She seems like a real person. It was the first National convention I had ever watched.... Her little daughter Piper ( I love her kids names !) licking her hand and fixing her baby brothers hair stole my heart..... Have you seen the clip on youtube?

Cory blogged about something "interesting" LOL Just kidding Cory. . .

Hey Beck - I hurried and blogged yesterday, just for you and low and behold I look on your blog and it's the same thing!

I like how Jeni put it, a breath of fresh air. I feel like I can trust her unlike all the other candidates - I'm hoping she doesn't let me down.

I also think she is very genuine and fresh for a politician. I really liked her speech but felt she was smacking on Obama a little too much. What she said was all so true and funny though. I just felt she was avoiding some more political issues and trying to degrade Obama too much! She defintely is a great public speaker! I do like her and she has definetly made the whole thing a little more interesting!!
