At our house we are quite fond of "Dancing With the Stars." As some of you may know, the new season started last night! We have been waiting and waiting, especially since Jake Ryan from Hannah Montana is on this time. So, those of you that didn't watch, you should start, and those that did, who's your fave? I'm with Misty May all the way! I also like the big football player (I don't know his name) and I think Kim Kardashian will really improve over the season. But Brandon can't stand her. And what's up with 82 yr. old Cloris Leachman? Please....that was NOT fun to watch! We didn't see "Jake Ryan" dance, but of course the girls love him...Should be entertaining!

Dancing...
At our house we are quite fond of "Dancing With the Stars." As some of you may know, the new season started last night! I Love Dancing With the Stars. Last season was a little disappointing, but I am excited for this new season. I only saw bits and pieces last night, but liked Lance Bass (and I am not a big NSYNC fan). I also liked the football players. I too missed Jake Ryan. And the old lady was NOT fun too watch.
P.S. Did you see Brooke Burke? NO ONE with 4 children (especially a 6 month old) should look like that)
I didn't see Brooke Burke, and Lance Bass was good, but it bugs me when people who have danced before do the show. Sabrina from Cheetah Girls bugged me that season for the same reason.
Shhh. Don't tell me kids that Dancing with the Stars started last night. I had too many things recording at once (I had to get Heroes for date night) We'll start watching tonight. I love when my girls critique their outfits- "that's not modest mom"
I only saw Susan Lucci. Dang she looks good for how old she is.
Did you know Jake Ryan is also the name of the cute boy from the movie Sixteen Candles? My first movie crush. I wanted to name my first born Jake Ryan because of him.
Oh ya, I wanted to add the lack of modesty issue to my post, too. Forgot! That is my only complaint about the show!

Sorry, I don't know what any of you are talking about, or should I say who. Lance Bass OK I know him & unfortunately I know Kim (big butt) Kardashian. I guess I'll have to tune in.
We had to stop watching because of the modesty thing and those suggestive moves that Nick Lachey's brother did in a cowboy dance :(
Maybe we'll try again since Jake is on. Ugh, that means I'll have to watch so I can be remote happy if the bodies get too skimpy again. You know how much I love tv.
Yeah! I love the show too. I'm not addicted to it, but I tune in here and there. I think this will be a great season. I just wish they'd wear a few more clothes. My girls (like Amy's) are always saying how immodest they are too.
Sophie always says, "I'm STILL watching and waiting for a modest dress!" :)
OK. I have to add another comment just to mention the modesty issue (with the rest of you). Like most the little girls, Chloe is constantly asking, "Why is she wearing that? Didn't her mom teach her that is not modest." But I actually have a bigger issue with my boys watching. Fortunately they aren't very interested, but you certainly feel uncomfortable when they are in the room. Not a good sign.
I watched it last night with the mother. I really enjoyed it. I thought "Jake Ryan" did a pretty good job, but like any guy he let Joanne (is that her name) do most of the shining. I haven't picked a personal favorite yet, perhaps I'll be able to let you know after Wednesday night.
Marci, I don't think her name is Joanne. But now I can't think of it. Yes, the men have it easier, especially at the first, because they don't have to do much, I don't think. Just have some rhythm and look cute, I guess. Plus they get to wear a lot more clothing.
It's JULIanne. and I love her! (from back in the Apolo Anton Ohno days, of course.)
Becky- I guess I am a loser. I have never watched this show. I just don't get into them I guess. I must be getting old because I would rather watch Headline News with Nancy Grace instead. I know....BORING!
I LOVE Dancing with the stars!! I missed it last night though. I didn't know Julianne was back, I loved, loved her!
Oh my gosh! I am totally hooked! Lane has always been in love with Brooke Burke! Did you see her! She has four kids and looks amazing!
I don't know how anyone learns those dances! Lane and I took a class once and it was not good! I think I have two left feet! And I have a tendency to want to lead! (bossy)
I think its fun to watch all of them!

I love DWTS! I love Julianne Hough, I miss her & Apolo - that chemistry was real. I am not kidding!

Oh come on... the best dancer is Warren sap (the football player) That big ol' twinkle toes teddy bear should take the whole thing! I love to watch him because he amazes me with every dance he has done and he is so fun! We seriously need to get rid of Cloris Leechman and That Kim chick. I don't think my teeth can stand much more gritting and clenching through their dances. Yikes!
One more note... is it just me or does Lynn Goodman need an enima? lol
