I'm back!

I've been on a bit of a hiatus from the bloggy blog world. I do, however, have 3 really great excuses for my extended absence:
1. October, for some reason, is crazy busy. Especially when trying to survive without a kitchen. Or half your house, for that matter. I have not been at my home much this month.
2. My camera is broken. It seems cute little Odie thought he should snap a few quick photos. Fun for him, not so much for my camera...
3. I have been reading a major book. The Devil in the White City. Long, heavy, non-fiction, not happy, put me in a bad mood for the week I was reading it. I also ate up my days trying to finish it in time for book club. I tend to procrastinate.
and I guess make that 4 excuses...
4. FACEBOOK! I have become a facebook junkie. I can't really say why? A bit less work than blogging.
So now I'm trying to make a comeback of some sort...we'll see how it goes!

Glad to have you back. I noticed that you have been on Facebook. I go there and observe, but haven't quite jumped in. Maybe I need some help form you.

I go back and forth with Facebook. Here in NS it's how our entire ward communicates with each other. I used to hate it. Then both of my sisters and 2 brothers joined and now I use it to "talk" with them really quick instead of calling them. So now I like it....but you sure can waste a lot of time on it. I still like blogging better! :)

Glad to have you back, when will your kitchen be done?

When I saw you on FB I wondered. I still don't totally get it. I did however, find a place to print and bind your blog in a hardback form for a journal. Now THAT is exciting.:)
Welcome back -- please stay.:)

Becky, I am glad my chastisement was used for motivation instead of turned to hatred towards me! Thanks for laughing with me last night - always more enjoyable that way!!

No need to apologize about the Facebook. Word on the street is that you have noticed my own Facebook frenzy. What was I suppose to do? I patiently waited for your blog updates and was continually let down. I had to get a fix and now look what you have done to me. I blame you for everything.

Steven, you REALLY have too much time on your hands! Why don't you get a life already? :) Did you make it to 100 friends yet?

Steven doesn't have time on his hands, the problem here is that he has a blackberry now. If I would've realized the combo of FB and the berry were going to transform into web obcession, I never would've told him about it.
And now he's found his former students & players!! I may never get him back....but its good to have you back Becky.

Becky, nice to hear from you again. I was getting worried that you were stuck in one of those new cupboards. lol Have Will check out Bracken's fair calf on my blog and let me know what he thinks. I put it on there because I thought he would like it.
Glad you are back!

Excuses, excuses!
I can't wait to see your kitchen!
I'll see you on Facebook! Lane was a little jealous of my Facebook. So Jon A. helped him start his own account. He comes home and says, "Look I still have no friends!" I had to tell him, "You have to confirm them!" Poor Lane.

I got on Facebook awhile back and had a VERY bad experience with an old friend. It scared me and I've not gone back since. But I've heard people are waiting for me to accept them as "My friend", nerds ha ha so I guess I'll try again. It seems like more work to me than blogging actually.

angie, do you work on halloween? Phoebe's filling just fell out of her tooth...can you say freak out session?

I think I missed you the most. Not just in the blogging world but I feel like I haven't laughed with you forever. Thank goodness for Sunday dinner. Maybe we can take another brisk & snuggly ride on the wheeler :)

okay its pretty sad when I find myself jumping from your fb account to your blog. I actually came over to see if you wrote about Phoebe's filling. We don't work today. Is it hurting? If so, we'll need to call Matt and he'll run up. If not, I can bring you some wax to temp fill it in until Monday. Let me know. I'll email you this too

I keep hearing abut facebook, but I haven't yet tried it. Maybe when life is a little less crazy. I am glad to see you back just like everyone else.

Okay I had to come back and confess my sins. I've been coveting your garden without your knowledge. I drove by the other day and there were two deer eating in your garden. I slowed down to enjoy the moment, they looked up briefly, and then went on eating the veggie scraps. Some people may disagree but I think you are so lucky! There was something very peaceful about it.

Becky A said...

angie, we love the deer SO MUCH too! I should post about my feelings for our deer friends sometime...

Becky!! I'm so glad your kind of back to blogging!! I love your posts and pics of your cute kids so you can't stop!! I'm not so sold on the whole fb thing yet!! I can't figure it out!! It seems so confusing to me, blogging is just so simple and easy. I'll keep working on the fb thing though, thanks for being one of my "few" friends!!!! lol

Oh yeah, and I wanted to comment on your cute cabinets and beautiful floor!! I love them so much!!! I love everything you have done so far!!! So cute, can't wait to see the finished project!!
